Eric Sogard hit four hits for the second time in three days and produced three races for the Milwaukee Brewers to beat the San Diego Padres on Thursday.
Sogard is batting .476 (21-10) with two home runs since last Friday, when he was called up from Triple A’s Colorado Springs branch. During the four-game series, he hit 15-9, including a single in the fourth inning and a two-runner in the seventh, a twelfth one-inning shot off Kevin Quackenbush (0-1).

In his last appearance in the batting box, Sogard received a ticket. He lost all previous campaign to recover from a knee surgery.
Zach Davies (5-2) won his third straight start, allowing two runs and five hits in six innings. Corey Knebel struck out his three rivals in the ninth inning, in which he gave a couple of tickets, to credit his third save.
