Bryce Harper hit two homers and the Washington Nationals beat the Cincinnati Reds 6-5 on Sunday to sweep them out in the first series of the season.
Adam Eaton capped a great series with a two-run homer by Washington, who has started on the right foot under the orders of his new manager Dave Martinez.

The Nationals have a 3-0 record for the fourth time in their history. They did not sweep the first series of the season since 2014.
Eaton returned after a knee injury that marginalized much of the previous season, and played a leading role throughout the series. He hit 13-8 with two doubles, a pair of homers, five RBIs and six runs.
Gio González (1-0) took the triumph after allowing only five hits and one unstoppable, throwing up to the seventh chapter.
The defeated was Sal Romano (0-1).
For the Nationals, the Venezuelan Miguel Montero 3-0. The Dominican Wilmer Difó of 3-1 with one annotated.
For the Reds, the Venezuelans Eugenio Suárez 2-0 with one run scored, José Peraza 4-0.
